1. General Information
These Terms and Conditions apply to the sale of modular garden houses and related products offered by [Company Name]. By placing an order, the customer agrees to the terms described in this document.
All products are delivered according to the specifications and descriptions provided on the website, quotation, or invoice.
2. Product Description
Modular garden houses are prefabricated structures designed for outdoor residential or recreational use.
Each unit is manufactured according to technical specifications including:
structural materials
insulation (if applicable)
roof system
windows and doors
electrical preparation (if included)
The exact configuration of the product is described in the technical specification provided with the order confirmation or invoice.
3. Delivery and Installation
Delivery is performed to the address specified by the customer.
The customer is responsible for:
preparing a suitable and level foundation
ensuring access for transport and installation
obtaining any local permissions required by the municipality (gemeente/commune)
Installation may be performed by the seller or by the customer depending on the agreement.
4. Legal Guarantee
In accordance with European Union and Belgian consumer law, all products sold to private consumers are covered by a minimum legal guarantee of 2 years from the date of delivery.
The guarantee covers defects related to:
manufacturing defects
material defects
non-conformity with the product description
If a defect appears during the warranty period, the seller will:
repair the product, or
replace the defective component, or
offer an appropriate solution in accordance with Belgian consumer law.
The customer must notify the seller of the defect within a reasonable time after discovering it.
5. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
damage caused by incorrect installation
improper foundation
lack of maintenance
modifications made by the customer
damage caused by extreme weather conditions or natural events
normal wear and tear of materials
Wood and other natural materials may show natural variations in color, texture, or minor movement due to humidity and temperature changes. These characteristics are considered normal and are not considered defects.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity of the garden house, the customer must follow the maintenance recommendations:
regular inspection of roof and sealing elements
proper ventilation of the interior space
protection of wooden elements with suitable treatments (if applicable)
cleaning of drainage and roof systems
Failure to maintain the structure properly may affect warranty coverage.
7. Liability
The seller is responsible only for defects related to manufacturing or materials.
The seller is not responsible for:
incorrect installation performed by third parties
structural modifications made after delivery
improper use of the building
8. Use of the Garden House
Garden houses are intended for recreational, storage, or temporary residential use depending on the model.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation complies with local building regulations and municipal rules in Belgium.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Belgian law.
Any disputes arising from the sale of products shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent Belgian courts.
